New home, who dis?
August 3, 2016
Baby and I just moved in together about 3 months ago and it’s the greatest idea we ever had. It’s been so much fun being able to shop for home decor but it can also get a little pricy, Slowly but surely our little place has been coming together so I just wanted to share a few of our accomplishments and some of my favorite places to get the best bang for your buck!
Okay so if any of you follow me on social media, you know I love taking pictures. Welllllll, I also love printing them out and putting them all over the walls. I recently discovered this website called Parabo Press
where you can print out your photos from your device or Instagram onto really cool paper. They always have fun new items to decorate and put your pictures with and priced fairly!
Our room is just a little cozy haven with our white marshmallow sheets. I definitely recommend shopping on Hautelook
to get the best discounts. Lupo’s sister suggested I try it out after realizing I was always maxing out my Nordstrom’s credit card. Sad to say, that didn’t help. But it’s amazing the discounts you can find on there! I found this $259 bedspread for only $40 and there’s plenty of amazing home decor on there.
My favorite part of our little apartment. Mostly because I get to eat here but also because of the coolest neon sign that pretty much defines our little place.
These cute little flower vases were a housewarming gift from my prior landlord. She got them on etsy and they are just the sweetest little thing. Etsy
is a great website to find home made goods for an inexpensive price.
Succulents are possibly my favorite thing in the world. I’m obsessed with buying them and filling up empty spaces with them. Hence, why you see them all over our apartment. I can’t even remember to eat three meals a day so in order to keep a household full of beautiful greenery, succulents are the best route to take. They do not require much care and typically can survive a very long time as long as they are in sunlight and watered every now and then.
My oh so very impressive boyfriend built this record player holder for me. Ain’t it a beaut?
Okay, so my macrame wall hanging is sure the center of attention of our home. I’ve gotten quite some compliments and constantly get asked where it’s from. Check out TeddyandWool’s Etsy Shop to order your own today.
Well that’s it for now! Our place is coming together and gets me so excited to throw a housewarming party. I will keep you guys updated with our next project.
