As you know, I’m a huge beauty junkie myself. So I’ve recommended a few investment products that are worth splurging on.
All of my choices are some of my faves but in case you don’t feel like looking through all of them, I’ve highlighted one from each category that’s worth looking into.
Tatcha Water Cream:
Heaven in a jar. This moisturizer does exactly what a moisturizer should do. It leaves my skins smooth and hydrated. It looks poreless and makeup sits amazingly over it. No white cast, no greasiness. It’s truly a dream. Super soothing and smells great too. I usually use it at night and my skin just absorbs it right up and in the morning you can tell what a difference it makes.
Sunday Riley Luna Oil:
I’ve been using this product since I got it back during Sephora’s spring sale and I am just so pleased. First off, I struggle with a little bit of dry skin on some areas which results in it looking dull. I started using this product, and I kid you not, within 2 weeks I saw results. The oil is blue and smells amazing, I massage it into my skin after cleansing it at night and the next day my skin is looking more plump and radiant. It also helps reduce the visibility of my pores and redness while leaving it feeling soft and hydrated. It is so worth the money and a little bit goes a long way. I am so impressed! Will be repurchasing.
RMS Luminizer:
This highlight kind of reminds me of Glossier’s haloscope in it’s dewy, subtle wet look. I use this highlight in the color natural finish everyday and apply it to the inner corners of my eyes, my cheek bones and cupid’s bow. It is so natural and just looks effortless without any sparkle or stickiness. Just a smooth luminous glow.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Fragrance:
I don’t think you can go wrong with any E&J fragrance. They are the epitome of timeless sophistication. This one in particular is my favorite because it’s a bold and spicy scent but at the same time, warm and inviting. I particularly enjoy wearing it during colder months because it gives me woodsy vibes. The key notes are violet, vanilla and sandle wood so if you’re into an edgy and modern scent, you have to try this one or any f the Nirvana scents. I know you’ll find your fit
Quai Curly Jelly:
I own almost every Ouai product there is and it was actually really difficult to pick just one of their products but ever since I cut my hair, the Ouai Curl Jelly has really been saving me a lot of time with styling. My hair is so weird. Somedays it’s straight, others it’s wavy and there’s times when it’s really curly. Go figure. But it’s mostly wavy. Ouai Curle Jelly really helps define my waves/curls. I put it on after I wash my hair and it just adds volume and texture without making my hair stiff and while taming frizz. This and Ouai’s Wave Spray (for a little more worn in hold) are my go tos.
